Stars! Program

The Stars! program is designed for our littlest dancers who demonstrate the desire to grow as performers and commit to a well-rounded dance training experience. 

There will be performance and competition opportunities throughout the year in both Jazz and Tap, as well as the opportunity for their very first Ballet Exam. Stars! will get the opportunity to perform in various shows and competitions throughout the community including the Advanced showcase 'Launch' and our year-end show 'Dance Vancouver'.

Who’s a STARS! Dancer?”
Stars! dancers are excited to perform, no audience is too small or stage too big. Stars! Dancers are ready to explore more challenging dance steps and disciplined training while still seeking creativity and free movement. Dancers in the Stars! program build confidence to engage with their teachers and draw inspiration from senior dancers by willingly practicing and applying feedback independently. Developing the group bond, dancers learn the values of cooperation, listening and empathy towards their peers.

Placement Classes
Our placement classes are specifically designed for dancers of all ages and ability levels.

Each year new dancers are given the chance to audition for our STARS! Program. The placement process is simple and fun! Come take class with our fabulous students and talented faculty in a real day at The Landing Dance Centre.
